The work of SAHAYOG is mostly focussed on the core values enshrined in the Constitution – equality, fraternity, justice, freedom.
Since the last 3 years, SAHAYOG has been working with community-based organizations on building their capacities and spreading awareness around what these constitutional values mean, how individuals can live by these values in their daily lives, and how they can promote social harmony and develop tolerance for people who are “different” from them and thus contribute towards a more peaceful society.
Up until now the outreach has been through various campaigns celebrating innovative days, trying to see how these constitutional values of equality, fraternity and justice can be upheld.
